EXME is a fictional clothing company set in the year 2048, designed as part of the Graphic Design course at Umeå Institute of Design using the Design Fiction approach.
The project envisions EXME evolving from an ordinary fashion brand into a company that leverages emerging technologies to create multifunctional clothing for pets. Within this scenario, the project focuses on designing the visual identity and graphic user interface for EXME's products.
Branding inspiration
I drew inspiration from fabric patterns used in garment design and started by designing the letter "X." Gradually, I developed the remaining letters, with each letter being cut out from a square piece of fabric.
Artifacts an GUI
Functional pet clothing was chosen as an exercise in graphic user interface and micro-animation design later in Design Fiction. Based on the tonality of EXME, I designed the functions, icons and all micro-animations for this futuristic clothing .
EXME play with their logotype to show different emotions of pets.
EXAM integrate an emotion detection system into pet clothing. Animations shown on the clothes can tell the basic emotional tendencies that the pets are having.

The fabric at the knees can be tightened to protect the joints during movement.
